"The KS Are Kanagroos"

Doctor's Notes: This was originally posted to the alt.fan.bgcrisis newsgroup on Jan 16 2001, and while it was meant to be humorous I was trying to make a semi-serious point about how silly it was for some people to think the members of the Knight Sabers might be lesbians. Was I successful in persuading anyone to change their minds? Are you kidding?

Ya know...

I've never understood the incredible desire of some BGC fans to very deliberately push the idea that the KS are lesbians. I just don't see it. In fact the idea seems so absurd to me that it's as likely as the KS all being kangaroos...

LADYS633 - "Big Meeting"

Priss: HEY! You kicked me!

Linna: Duh.

Priss: But did you have to kick me so hard?

Linna: Hey, it's what we do.

Priss: Yeah, but we don't ALWAYS have to kick THAT hard.

[Sylia hops in and immediately kicks Priss]

Priss: OW! Hi Sylia.

Sylia: Hi Priss. Hello Linna. So have you two looked over our latest job briefing?

Linna: Haven't had a chance yet [kicks Priss]

Priss: OW! Dammit...

[Nene hops in and is about to kick Priss but she gets glared down and backs away. Linna and Priss proceed to kick Nene a couple of times]

Nene: OW! OW! Hey! Quit ganging up on me!

Linna & Priss: Hey, it's what we do.

Sylia: Hello Nene [kicks Nene]

Nene: OW! Not you too Sylia?

Sylia: Hey, it's what we do. Anyway, check over the mission briefing when you get a chance, because we really could use the money. My pouch is getting awfully empty.

Linna: [Taps Sylia's pouch with her toes] It seems pretty full to me.

Sylia: Oh, that's just Mackie. He's sleeping.

Linna, Priss & Nene: Mackie's in there?

Sylia: Yup. I'd kick him but my feet don't quite reach and I'd be kicking myself anyway...

Linna, Priss & Nene: [group smirk] You can't eh?

[Linna, Priss & Nene proceed to kick Sylia's pouch HARD]

Mackie: OW! OOH! OUCH! OW! HEY!!!

Sylia: All right knock it off. Now I'm starting to feel that.

Linna: Hey, it's what we do.

Priss: Ya know something else we do?

Linna: What's that?

Priss: We say "Hey, it's what we do" a lot.

Nene: She's right.

Linna: So?

Priss: Maybe we should stop saying that. Hell, maybe we should stop kicking each other.

Sylia: Now this is getting out of control.

Linna: Yeah, that's crazy Priss.

Nene: Even I'm not that stupid... O_O

Priss: What did you say?

Linna: Oh you are so looking for a kicking Nene.

Nene: But I didn't mean it... I... I'm sorry Priss! Don't kick me!

Priss: [pauses to look thoughtful for a moment] You're right Nene. Not saying "Hey, it's what we do" DOES sound stupid, because Hey, it's what we do. [proceeds to kick Nene]

Sylia: Anybody wanna try on the new hardsuits?
