June 2003 - "Do
You Want To Go Faster?!" - Progress. We move forward and make
things better and faster! But consider for a moment, what would have
happened if tape decks (remember them?) available to consumers never
came with a record head in them. The day the tape "recorder" was
made available to the public was the day this whole MP3 "File Sharing"
debate got started. Suddenly we could record music and make copies of
it! We could make our own custom "mix tapes", or give a copy of a tape
to a friend. It also let amateur bands record themselves using a
slightly more sophisticated but relatively inexpensive multi-track
tape recording device. Sounds all good right? Maybe...
Dec 2001 - "The Future Of The Internet" - In just a few short years the internet has exploded from the latest fad into something that everyone thinks they can't do without. Can you remember what you used to do with all your spare time? Can you remember when you thought a firewall was that thing between you and the engine in your car? So now that you're "connected", what do you think? I it what you thought it would be? Are you bored already? Are you concerned about security? May 2000 - "Anime Central 2K - New Books!" - Well, after around 16 hours on the road, 60 hours of anime related goodness, and a couple hundred dollars later, the Anime Central Convention for 2000 is now history. What do I have to show for it? Read this article and find out! March 2000 - "The Black Knight" - Should Sylia and Mackie really trust a stranger who claims to be their long lost relative? And is Blackie really just a character based on the author of Bubblegum Cross as someone on alt.fan.bgcrisis has theorized? If you've been reading the story then you should know the answer to both questions... shouldn't you? October 1999 - "The Tower Demo Project" - After 15+ years of playing in various local rock bands, a long-time drummer friend and I decided to record a few tunes that we'd been kicking around for a while. Add in one mild-mannered bass player, a rehearsal studio, some rented recording gear, a passing photograph of some power wires, and three months later we had a demo CD... July 1999 - "Who Is Dr Raven?" - Just what kind of a person would create a website like this? Okay so you really don't care, but it took me long time to write up this bio and to scan all the pics so humour me, okay? ;) |
